Care Managers

At Bay Area House Call Dentists, we work closely with the caregivers who are responsible, wholly or in part, for the medical care of our patients. That may mean family members, legal guardians or staff members at assisted living homes. Whatever your role, our team of dedicated practitioners is committed to partnering with you to bring expert, effective and compassionate dental services to the family member or resident(s) in your care.

  • We come to you: By bringing our dental services to you, we save time and effort, and greatly minimize frustration and physical discomfort for both the patient and the caregiver.
  • We help you participate: We listen carefully to the concerns of our patients and their caregivers, and we make sure to bring all responsible parties into every decision-making process. Educating our patients and their caregivers is an integral part of our program. It’s what we do. Nothing happens until all involved are comfortable with each decision and with the overall plan for the patient’s dental care.
  • We help ease the stress: Our experienced House Call team of dentists and assistants is experienced at putting our patients at ease, both physically and emotionally. We make our patients comfortable, making each treatment as pleasant as possible, no matter what the patient’s physical or emotional challenge might be. It’s not just because that’s good medicine. It’s also because we truly care about the people we serve.
  • We streamline the process: If extensive care is needed, we coordinate all aspects of our patients’ care, including work to be done by dental specialists like periodontists, endodontists and oral surgeons. This can save you more time and effort, as two, three or even four separate appointments can often be merged into a single visit.
  • We help our patients get healthy and stay healthy: We’re expert dentists. That’s really the bottom line, isn’t it? Because dental health is tied in many important ways to a patient’s overall well-being. Tooth, gum or denture discomfort can inhibit appetite and prevent proper nutrition. Infection in the mouth and gums can spread, promoting problems including heart and kidney disease. You may not even know if your family member or charge is feeling discomfort, but we can find out for you, quickly and easily. And we know what to do about it. It’s a crucial question of health and quality of life.
